That's right: we're coming back for more! Encouraged by popular demand, we're hosting another installment of Junk Wax Battle at everybody's favorite board game cafe—Knight Moves Cafe, at 1402 Beacon Street in Brookline, Mass.—on Sunday February 15th at 3:30pm.
New rules. New prizes. New sponsor.
We took the game back to the workshop for more tweaking after a successful beta test in October. And though the players had fun, the set—1988 Donruss—was unwieldy and the game play itself went on too long. Armed with a lot of great feedback, we're back with easier rules, more strategy, and much more irreverence, all in the spirit of collecting baseball cards.
And did I mention we've got a new grand prize? Players will be competing for an autographed David Ortiz baseball card! How cool is that? The prize comes courtesy of Kenmore Collectibles, our new sponsor.
